Nassella (Stipa) tenuissima Mexican Feather Grass

$12.00

Mexican Feather Grass is the most fine-textured grass with wispy, flowing, lime-green foliage.  This cool-season native grass retains its color year round, although it may brown out somewhat in the heat of the summer. Light, wheat-colored seed heads emerge in May. Mexican Feather Grass requires dry soil and full sun, and it is very drought tolerant. Nassella tenuissima is especially spectacular planted in decorative containers. It is native to the Southwest US, Mexico and Argentina where it grows in dry areas.
